Brenda Dennis

Brenda Robertson Dennis

A native of Fort Walton Beach Florida, Brenda is a graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, where she studied Psychology and Business Administration. She has worked in Public Relations and Development for over 20 years. She has also been a Freelance Writer for several magazines throughout Alabama and Florida, including Alabama Living, Alabama Metro360 and Joy to Life.

Brenda has served as an Ambassador for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce; the Arts Council of Montgomery where she served as Chair of ACES; was a frequent panel judge for the Alabama State Council on the Arts; Served as Board Secretary of Mary Ellen’s Hearth; sat on the Arts & Culture committee of Envision 2020; and was a member of the Junior League of Montgomery, where she was a staff writer and Editor of League Logs. She has also served as Membership Chair of the Central Alabama Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Brenda is a graduate of Legacy Class XXXVI of Leadership Montgomery, is member of the Prattville Millbrook Sunrise Rotary Club, and is a Paul Harris Fellow Award recipient.

Rosalee Wade

Rosalee, also know as Rosie, was born in Checotah, Oklahoma and attended College at Conners Junior College in Warner, Oklahoma where she studied Home Economics.  Eventually, she moved to California where she took a position at the Grinnell Company in the billing department, working her way up over 16 years to an Assistant in the Purchasing Agent Department. 

After a move to Long Beach, Mississippi to work as Assistant Manager in the plumbing division of Paine Supply Company, Rosie applied for the training program to become the Service Chief for the Veterans Canteen Service.  There she stayed until her retirement 21 ½ years later. 

After retirement and the loss of their son Sidney in 1999, Rosie and her husband, Jim moved to Millbrook, Alabama where they both became active in their community and church.  Rosie worked for the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce from 2001-2010 and then returned as a volunteer in 2019.
