Candice is a native of the River Region with over 20 years’ experience in customer service, marketing and advertising. She has extensive knowledge in digital marketing and broadcast placement, not to mention a background in print advertising before joining the WSFA 12 News team.  Candice is passionate about helping local businesses grow, and her relationships have earned her numerous national clients as well.

Candice enjoys giving back to the community and volunteers with the local United Way having served as a loan executive for 5 years and now a member of the Community Impact Council.  She is the proud mom to son Rivers, step-son Stone, and step-daughter Maggie. In her free time you will find Candice traveling with her other half, Scott, their children and dog Blaze. 

I am the Wellness Director and certified personal trainer at the Grandview Family YMCA.  I joined the Grandview Family YMCA in May 2021.  

I grew up in a small town called Palm Coast, Florida until I was recruited to play soccer for Huntingdon College.  I played as the Women’s goalkeeper during my years at Huntingdon.  I won defensive player and All-Area player during my experience.  I graduated in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science.  

During my time at Huntingdon College, I met my husband.  My husband and I have two wonderful boys that are balls of energy.  I truly cannot wait for this opportunity to provide a resource to the community and city.  

Pamela Mitchell is the Business Development Manager for PH&J Achitects, Inc. PH& J Architects was founded in Montgomery in 1957 and their design portfolio includes: State, City, County, Business, Education and Church projects throughout the State of Alabama. Pamela specializes in Marketing and Client Development and is responsible for developing new client relationships, marketing communication, tradeshow/event planning and marketing budgets. She is dedicated to using her positive attitude and diligence to help connect people, ideas and solutions and to develop collaborative and long-term business relationships. Mitchell earned her BS in Business Communication from UNC Greensboro. Pamela is inspired daily by her three sons and is actively involved in Vaughn Forest Baptist Church.

Jeremy Powers, Sr. is the Co-Owner of Kingdom Dough, LLC in Millbrook where he operates with his wife Kimberly Powers. Jeremy and his wife Kimberly have been married for 17 years and have four children. Jeremy was raised in Millbrook and is a graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School and Life Christian University with a Bachelor of Theology. Jeremy serves as the Senior Pastor of House of  Restoration Church in Millbrook and He enjoys serving God and His people. Jeremy looks forward to being a positive influence to the community and surrounding businesses with servanthood, prayer, delicious donuts but most importantly LOVE. .

Kyle was born In Gulf Shores but made the River Region his home in 2012 after leaving Auburn. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance and completed his MBA in 2016 from AUM. He is married to his wife of 7 years, Sara, and they have 2 dogs. Kyle is the Mortgage Loan Originator for MAX Credit Union and serves their customers in Prattville & Millbrook. In the past, Kyle served on the Prattville Chamber as an Ambassador and received the 2018 Ambassador of the Year award. He is a current member of the Prattville YMCA’s Emerging Leaders Board and was named on the “Top 20 under 40” In Prattville in 2020. He looks forward to serving Millbrook’s chamber for many years and is excited about getting to know the people and businesses in this community!

Ashley is the owner of Pest Pro Services, LLC. She was born and raised in Millbrook. She graduated from Stanhope Elmore and has an Accounting  Degree from Huntingdon College. Ashley is a certified pest control operator, with four certifications. She has 17 years in the pest industry.  PestPro specializes in residential and commercial pest, termite, and mosquito control. At Pest Pro we believe in treating each home in a custom way. No two homes are the same, therefore no two treatments are the same. We use the best products to receive the best results. The Pest Pro Promise: We strive to go above and beyond when servicing are customers and our community.  Ashley is a retired baseball and softball coach. She has two dachshunds,  enjoys boating and being at the lake. 

Carla Wilson is the Owner and Publisher at Elmore Autauga News. She works with business owners, community leaders, and executives to grow their brands and meet set goals. She has over 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and business management.
She has brought positive results to companies she’s worked with because she is passionate about her clients success.
Carla loves the sense of community that Millbrook offers.
She thrives on spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband for 10 years. In her free time she enjoys fishing and camping.

Michelle Wilson has been in hospitality for over 25 years.  In many aspects of the industry.  Including golf tournament coordination for 10 years. She transitioned to hotel sales in 2021.  She has a double Bachelor degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice one from Jacksonville State University and the other from Troy State University. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. 

While establishing herself as a service-oriented person, Michelle has served her community in varying capacities for over 30 years.  Taking care of service personal especially Firefighters has been a passion of hers since the Gurney Cotton Mill fire in September of 2002.

 She is a caregiver for her 90 year old father, a mother and a grandmother. She loves traveling with her girlfriends from high school.  She has a passion for tea, china and table settings.  In her spare time she loves to spend time at the family lake home to rest and rejuvenate.

I am an estimator/ project manager and handle outside marketing for HomeSouth Roofing LLC.

Our home office is located in Wetumpka, Alabama.

I graduated from High School in Austin Texas. After playing baseball for a few years, I decided to move back to the Montgomery area 

to be closer to my family on both sides. I eventually graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelors of Arts in Education.

My wife and I have been married for 29 years. We have two wonderful daughters and a fantastic son-in -law.

I am looking forward to serving as an ambassador for the Millbrook Chamber.
