Marjorie Lynn Bowden is a 35-year retired Department of Defense Civilian. She is the owner of  M-L-B Enterprises that offers End-of-Life Doula, Biblical Counselor and Life Coach services focusing on caregiving, death planning, and support to grievers. Marjorie is an author with an MPA and Doctorate of Biblical Studies and is the CEO of the nonprofit organization, Alpha Love 2 Life. She currently serves on the boards of All Collaborating to Serve-Community Development Corporation and Carastar Health Board. Marjorie is an active member of Lake Elam Missionary Baptist Church and has three sons and five grandchildren.

Steve Mullis started his Insurance Career in 2002. He started working for Liveoak Insurance Agency in 2020 and he specializes in Insurance for the Construction Industry. He is the President of the Montgomery Independent Insurance Agents Association and is also very active with the Alabama Home Builders Association serving on the local and state levels. He is a faithful member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Holtville and also resides in Holtville. Steve is married to Cindy Mullis who is also in the Insurance Industry and has 4 Children and 2 Grandchildren.

Jamie Brown is the Vice President Relationship Development for MAX Credit Union.  Her primary role is to develop relationships with amazing people across many of the communities in which MAX Credit Union serves. This is done through community events, volunteerism, financial education…just to name a few.  And like MAX, community matters to Jamie!  She is very involved with the MAX4Kids Foundation, Millbrook Chamber Board, Prattville-Millbrook Sunrise Rotary Club, SHRM Montgomery, PRCA Montgomery, Leadership Montgomery and MACOA. #whereintheworldisjamieb

Penny has a Masters of Science in Justice and Public Safety.  She and her husband, Jimmy Sutherland started Advanced Appraisal Services in 1998, moving the business to Millbrook in 2003.  Even still, Penny worked in the legal field until 2007 before moving to AAS full time.  She became a certified residential real property appraiser in 2009.  Penny is a member of Coosada Baptist Church, Millbrook Civitan Club, and the Millbrook Revelers. She currently serves on the boards of the Millbrook Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning Adjustments and formerly served on the board of the Butterfly Bridge Child Advocacy Center.

Kristy Andreadakis is the founder of 1Social Buzz, a digital advertising company based in Millbrook, Alabama. With over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, Kristy has developed a deep understanding of the industry. Her true passion lies in digital advertising and exploring the psychology behind consumer behavior and engagement.

For the past decade, Kristy has resided in Prattville, Alabama, where she has been actively involved in raising her family of five children. Originally from Upstate New York, she has a strong connection to her roots. Kristy is a proud graduate of SUNY Cobleskill, where she acquired the knowledge and skills that have propelled her successful career in sales and marketing.

As the founder of 1Social Buzz, Kristy Andreadakis combines her expertise in sales, marketing, and digital advertising to help businesses effectively connect with their target audiences. Her company aims to generate social buzz and drive meaningful engagement through strategic digital advertising campaigns. Cindy Browder came to CAEC 20 years ago with the purpose of helping others. Not having any idea of what a Cooperative really consisted of yet, understanding the value of serving people. She has held positions in the following areas: Customer service representative and currently as an Energy & Technology Consultant in the Member Services Department at CAEC. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management, Troy University and is currently  a Realtor.  While establishing herself as a service-oriented person, Cindy serves on several boards

(GMHBA and MAAR). Over the years, her desire to serve has been such an intricate part of her life that she has taken several Mission trips to South Korea, Kenya and Ghana Africa to fulfill that purpose of serving others.  She is a wife and a mother of five children and three grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys reading, motivational speaking and leading women’s empowerment ministries and meeting new people.

He has lived in Elmore County for over 31 years. Currently he is a member of The Montgomery Kiwanis Club but has been honored to serve on several boards including the Montgomery Kiwanis Club, the Alabama National Fair and the Joe Sewell Memorial Award.

Don and his beautiful wife Margie are blessed with five children and eight grandchildren.

Ann has been the Economic Development Director for the City of Millbrook since 2018.  Prior to her job with the City, she served as the Development Director for the Alabama Wildlife Federation.  Ann’s favorite part of her job is building relationships and connecting people to people and people to resources in order to advance Millbrook’s economic growth.  Ann is an Auburn University graduate and a member of the Economic Development Association of Alabama and International Council of Shopping Centers.  She serves on the boards of the Elmore County Economic Development Authority and the Central Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission.  Ann is married to Michael Harper, an attorney, and together they have one daughter, Aliceann.

Letitia Ruffin-Johnson (RJ), is the 5th and 6th grade Assistant Principal at Millbrook Middle School. She has just completed her seventh year in the Elmore County School System, and her twenty-sixth year in education. She taught six years in Perry County and Selma City before moving to Georgia where she taught for twelve years before returning to Alabama in 2015.

RJ is from Birmingham, Alabama, where she graduated from Wenonah High School. She is also a graduate of Alabama State University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Language Arts Education. She taught high school English for twenty-one years before going into administration and obtained her Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University.

RJ is married to Charles Johnson, Jr. They have two awesome sons, Charles “Tripp” Johnson, III who is going to be a junior at Stanhope Elmore High School, and Courtland Johnson who will be a fifth grader at Millbrook Middle School. She is deeply dedicated to her family and their well-being.

RJ is also devoted to the students in Millbrook. She has worked hard and will continue to work diligently to ensure that students in the Millbrook community get the education they deserve. This, in turn, will continue to help Millbrook grow and prosper.

Cadi Garner Mills was born and raised in Deatsville.  She is a 2009 graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama in 2013. 

Cadi began her career working with PCH Hotels and Resorts at The Renaissance Montgomery Hotel in 2013.  Advancement within PCH took her to positions as Catering Sales Manager at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear and continued on to Senior Events Manager at both the Battle House Renaissance Hotel and Renaissance Riverview Hotel in Mobile.    Cadi married Garner Mills of Mobile in 2016.  Wanting to start a family led her and Garner back to Elmore County in 2018 and both began new careers with Garner Electric working alongside her family.  Cadi and Garner reside in Holtville and have two young children, Patton and Murry Hahn.

Kimberly Powers is the Co-Owner of Kingdom Dough, LLC where she operates alongside her husband Jeremy Powers. Kimberly is from Prattville, AL and a Graduate from Prattville High School. Kimberly and Jeremy have been married for 18 years and have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 handsome sons. Kimberly began baking 10 years ago starting only with cupcakes. Her passion quickly grew and she began finding love and joy in making custom cakes for all occasions including weddings, birthdays, baby showers, graduations as well as holidays. Kimberly and Jeremy opened Kingdom Dough in October 2020. At Kingdom Dough there are over 25 different flavor donuts which are all baked with the freshest ingredients and an abundance of love. At Kingdom Dough we believe in treating each and every customer with the best customer service and the utmost respect as we are aware that all stomachs that enter Kingdom Dough are the same and that is “hungry.” Kingdom Dough has now become a household name and also been seen worldwide on HGTV HomeTown Takeover: Where are They Now? Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, traveling, reading and serving in her church alongside her husband.

Harvey has loved living in Millbrook since September 2018.  He and his wife of 29 years, Amanda, have been Elmore county residents since 2012.  He is an owner and president of Publications Plus, Inc.  PPI is a leading printing and marketing company in the river region.

Harvey is a member of Coosada Baptist Church where he leads a small group class on Sundays.  He also serves as a deacon and has been deacon chairman previously.  He is the Director of Central Alabama Fishers of Men division and is their Program Director for the national office.  FOM seeks to share Christ through fishing tournaments.  Harvey enjoys fishing and traveling out of the country on mission trips.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Printing Industry Association of the South, the Baptist Foundation of Alabama and Well Worn Paths ministry.

Jamal Thomas is the Publisher and CEO of Gumptown Magazine, a local urban business directory based in Montgomery, AL. Launched in 2011, Gumptown Magazine helps market small and minority owned businesses and provides the latest in grassroots community news. Jamal earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Alabama State University in 2007 and a M.B.A. from South University in 2009. A native of Cleveland, OH, Jamal is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Montgomery Capital Rotary club, and a graduate Leadership Montgomery Class XXXIII.
